We live in a time when it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, scattered, and pulled in a dozen directions at once. We long for coherence in our life—some way by which our various interests, skills, possessions and relationships might become more than simply a way of earning money , staying busy, or keeping ourselves distracted while the world burns down around us. We long to be people who make an actual difference in the world. The Anglican tradition has long emphasized that the answer to this deep longing can be found within the art of vocational discernment and the discipline of stewardship—learning to identify our own unique part in the larger work of the Body of Christ, the Church. There are no generic Christians—every disciple’s call is unique. Come on October 15 as we provide some theological tools for finding greater clarity through commitment and community.
RSVP with Dan at dcarlson@adventcincy.org. Dinner will be provided!
