This service begins at 7:30pm with the Kindling of the New Fire!

The Easter Vigil, which begins at sundown on Saturday evening, marks the holiest moment of the entire Christian year. On this night we kindle the Easter fire and proclaim the victory of the Light of Christ which overcomes the darkness. We tell the story of our faith by remembering God’s ancient work of salvation, unfolding since the dawn of Creation, which reaches its climax in the Resurrection of Christ and the defeat of the power of Death. The Great Vigil is rooted in the transformative Christian journey through baptism and rebirth, and culminates in our celebration of the first Eucharist of Easter.
